National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation has been set up in April, 2001 under Section 25 ofthe Companies Act, 1956 (A Company not for profit). NSTFDC is a fully Government of India owned Undertaking

under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and is managed by a Board of Directors with representation from the Central

Government, State Level Channelising Agency, financial institutions and persons representing the Scheduled Tribes.
