Every beneficiary who has land should cultivate perennial folder in at least in ¼ th of acre. However, for mini dairy units beneficiaries should have at least half (1/2) acre of Agriculture land with perennial fodder crops.

The folder plot should be ready for harvest by the time the milch animals is possessed by the beneficiary.

Whenever the milch animals are distributed to agricultural labourers,adequate availability of foder shall be ensured.

The beneficiary should be subjected to one week pre programme training connected to the activity.

Women beneficiaries should be more preferred for milch animal units.
